Shelton M. Sithole is a seasoned practicing Town Planner with over 10 years of comprehensive experience in both national and local government planning. He holds a Master’s degree in Spatial Planning Systems from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master’s in Development Studies from the National University of Science and Technology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (LSU) Additionally, Shelton completed his Bachelor of Science in Rural and Urban Planning at the University of Zimbabwe and has earned various professional certificates that enhance his expertise in the field.

In his role as a part-time lecturer, Shelton imparts his knowledge and insights on contemporary planning issues to the next generation of planners. An accomplished author, he actively contributes to literature in the planning sector, sharing his perspectives and research on pressing urban challenges and innovative solutions.

Currently, Shelton serves as the Vice President of the Zimbabwe Institute of Regional and Urban Planners, where he advocates for best practices in urban planning and helps shape policies that influence sustainable development. His commitment to excellence in urban planning and community development positions him as a respected leader in the industry.
