Executive Director and Senior Consultant at TAKMAB Construction and Planning Consultancy Pvt Ltd. Holder of a MSc degree in Urban Design, BSc Honors degree in Rural and Urban Planning, BSc Honors degree in Geography and Environmental Studies, National Diploma in Regional and Urban Planning, Diploma in Biblical Studies and Christian Leadership, Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management and an Advanced Certificate in GIS. He is also the current HOD for Spatial Planning Department at Bindura Rural District Council. Has over 15 years of experience working as a Spatial Planner in Rural Local Authorities, Urban Local Authorities and in the Private Sector. He is the Current Treasurer of the Zimbabwe Institute of Regional and Urban Planning.
Onias N Makanda is a holder of BSc Rural & Urban Planning and Masters In Development Studies. He has more than 15yrs of work experience in the areas of spatial planning; property management and rural development. Currently he is the Manager Housing & Social Services at Zvimba RDC and is holding the post of ZIRUP Auditor for 2 consecutive terms.
Andrew is a part time lecturer with the University of Zimbabwe. He is an academic and seasoned spatial planning practitioner. Andrew is the Executive Director for Astute Contractors since November 2019. Before this he was the Managing Director for Hello Project Developers for 8 years. He has authored and co-authored in refereed journals. Andrew is the immediate past President for Zimbabwe Institute for Regional and Urban Planning.
